Problem

Workflows that were difficult to follow

Its rigid structure made workflows difficult to follow and left some steps manual, increasing the risk of errors.

Discovery

Understanding routines and rules

I spoke with end users about their routines, business rules, and the points where the process stalled.

Approach

Redesigning workflows and showing status

I used those findings to map the journey and redesign the workflows and prototypes. The main decisions focused on preventing errors and showing the status of each process in the interface.

  • Managing deadlines and severe technical constraints.
  • Direct collaboration with users and engineering.

Impact and learnings

Less manual work

The solution adds automation to steps that were previously manual and shows the status of each process in the interface. With leaner processes, the project reduced manual work by approximately 10 hours per week per employee.
